If you've been keeping up with your "Basketball Wives: L.A." news, you know that Lakers player Matt Barnes and reality star Gloria Govan have split up.
But that doesn't mean Barnes has moved on to Eva Longoria.
The actress is stomping out the rumor, which started after she and Barnes were spotted sharing a meal - described as a "flirty dinner" by the New York Post's Page Six.
Longoria says on her WhoSay account, "Once again, press gets it wrong, matt barnes and I are not dating! We are doing a charity event together for Padres and Athletes vs Cancer."
She continues, "Why is the truth never the headline? Why did I bother to comment when they put your statement at end of articles? #stillannoying."
If you're wondering why Longoria is "still" annoyed, E! News reports it's because she had to lay the smack down on another rumor - that she told Jessica Simpson to cancel her wedding because Longoria was superstitious about the (unconfirmed) November 11, 2011 date. (As GossipCop reports, no date has actually been set.)
"Wow, some dumb magazine(InTouch) is reporting I told Jessica Simpson to cancel her wedding date because I'm superstitious! So not true!" she wrote, also via WhoSay. "My denial is at end of story but they ran it anyway. Makes no sense how they can lie to the public."
