Sparkly or sophisticated? Minimalist or maximum? Its hard to make a choice on table decorations for your reception, especially when there are so many fantastic accessories available nowadays. And, of course, knowing how itll look when its all put together can be a concern.

LOTS OF FLOWERS & FLOATING CANDLES

If you want a really sumptuous look to your tables, this is the style for you. Lots of lush flowers and foliage surround a bowl full of floating candles which, when lit, will reflect on the water and light up the surrounding blooms. Low-level arrangements are particularly great for rooms with lower ceilings or when you want to keep things simple and uncluttered. Gorgeous flowers can add a real touch of luxury.

LOVE HEARTS
These are absolutely perfect for weddings! Place a few sweets in a co-ordinating box, tie with ribbon and add a tag for a fabulous combined place card and favour. Adding a little material or tissue to the bottom of the box looks even better. Little gifts left at place settings look wonderful and are really welcoming for guests when they take their seats. Using one item for both favour and place card helps to keep the table neat and simple.

BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL
Adding a big burst of colour can be an excellent idea, particularly in a larger or darker room. Hot pink flowers have real impact when placed against a bright white table cloth. The pink theme can be continued inside the vase with cellophane adding even more colour.

RED ROSES
One of the most traditional wedding styles but it works so well! Table centres can be kept small and feature a few perfect blooms in a silver pot. Silver can then be continued through on the fir cones and the writing on the name tags. A rose image can be replicated on the menus and chocolate favours wrapped in red. Candles warm the look further, perfect for winter.
