1. Listen Listen, Listen, Listen. Listening is not just hearing. You have to listen for the tone, the implied meaning and in some cases even the expected answer. Many times in interviews I conduct, I have to stop the candidate and tell him again what is it that I asked. For e.g. tell me about yourself is a simple enough thing to do and yet I see interviewees answering this by talking about the parents professions, the siblings education or even about their alma mater.

Success seems to be an elusive treasure for many. There are some many ways to attain it yet most of us get caught up trying to figure it all out ourselves. This leads to a great deal of lost time to gain the experience needed to be successful. Looking back, I wish someone had put together a list of hard facts that were true in life.
