I absolutely love working for myself ! It is lonely at times, and it takes discipline, however what could be better! I drink coffee when I want, eat when I want, throw in a load of laundry when I want, take the dog out, make a call, surf the net.. all when I want! The greatest part of working for yourself is not having anyone looking over your shoulder. I have had the craziest, zaniest, unstable bosses in my work history.

Enthusiasm about a potential job is a good thing. But enthusiasm, if expressed incorrectly, could be interpreted as desperation. Your resume or cover letter could then end up in the trash, and that's not a good thing.

Essentially, to motivate a piece of equipment to operate, you need to give it the proper source of energy and to push the start button. If only people were so easy. If everyone reading supplied an answer to a similar question, "How am I motivated?", we would get thousands of different answers, each being correct. There is no start button for people, or is there? Here is a more theoretical approach to the never-ending saga.
