Respect can sometimes be an old fashioned word, at times it can be downright annoying because it seems to be the one ingredient thats been minced, sliced, grated and chopped many times over, especially in relationship and marriage manuals and how to books.

LDR. Yes, folks. Thats the acronym for long distance relationships. So if a friend says, youre in one of those LDRs, huh? Youll know what it means. Its a heartbreaking situation, no doubt. A dozen emails a day and several phone calls a week are just not the same as having the beloved around, physically close to you. When the distance involves a plane ride, or a crossing over of the Atlantic or Pacific Oceans, thats even more heartbreaking. Besides, how often can you cross over without breaking the bank?

Finding someone who is potentially a perfect match for you can put you on a serious high and before you know it, you are feeling whisked away, like the sunshine is brighter and the flowers are bigger and sweeter and youre even losing weight without even trying because your brain is so in love that it is sending out these marvelous chemicals that help you to overlook the subtle, and not so subtle differences that will one day become an issue of conflict.
